Physical GIF is currently a project seeking funding on the Kickstarter website -- and boy, what a project it is. The concept involves taking digital animations and creating a physical product out of them. These table top toys are absolutely incredible and unlike anything that I have ever seen before.
Physical GIF comes to life with a little spin and some clever lighting strategies; the eye perceives the various stills as one fluid event. There are currently three different designs for Kickstarter: BMX biker, elephant rabbit costume party and New York fourth of July. Physical GIF is a phenomenal project.
