Gifts of the Forest is Nespresso's phygital experience. The sensory experience is an enhanced Nespresso boutique with augmented reality, adding a digital experience to its festive campaign. Nespresso combines physical and digital interactive sensory elements to create a phygital space.

The innovative experience intends to reference the rich biodiversity of rainforests. Fashion designer Johanna Ortiz collaborated on the project to develop tropical designs. The sensory experience is rolled out worldwide and includes paper models which depict parrots nestled among tropical foliage and flowers. In contrast, the experience offers various augmented reality and sound technology to compliment the depictions. The models are activated when shoppers scan a QR code on the store's window -- birds flutter across the street, and leaves sprout from the ground.
