Immersive Coffee Store Experiences

Nespresso Launches Interactive Boutique Store in the UK

Nespresso, a specialty coffee appliance and pod maker owned by Nestlé, has launched an interactive boutique store concept in the United Kingdom at the Bluewater shopping center in Kent. The store was designed to offers shoppers a more immersive and personalized in-store experience.

The new boutique concept focuses on the idea of coffee as an art. The store itself introduces a variety of innovations, including the ‘Taste & Discover’ area -- a dedicated space where customers can use iPad tutorials to create their own coffee recipes and participate in unique augmented reality experiences. Here, AR is being utilized as a tool for immersing consumers in the stories and heritage behind Nespresso's premium coffee blends.

Driving home the store's overarching concept, a 'Coffe as an Art' masterclass area has also been added to the new store. In this space, customers can engage with on-hand coffee specialists and learn about sophisticated recipe creation.
