Paul Miller is a technology writer who publicly decided to leave the Internet for an entire year in hopes to change his life for the better. His goal was to discover and undo all of the bad life habits he had developed through living life online for so many years prior to this experiment. After spending 365 days without any connection to the online world he is back online and sharing his experience.

Without the constant escape and distraction of the Internet and everything that comes with it Paul began to appreciate new ideas and information that couldn’t be summed up in a single blog post. He started having more of these wonderful ideas him self and even wrote half of his novel without even trying.

Now that he is back online, Paul Miller stresses the importance of having real life connections offline but he also sees the necessity in being connected in the culture we live in today.
