Knowing that many of its young fans will be dressing up for Halloween this year, Fanta created special soda can packaging for Halloween that makes it possible for Snapchat users to virtually dress up for the holiday.
The limited-edition cans depict classic Halloween monsters designed by Israeli designer Noma Bar, including a vampire with an orange for a mouth, as well as a skeleton with citrus slices for eyes. These special-edition soda cans feature built-in QR codes that can be scanned to access branded filters and lenses on Snapchat.
This Millennial-targeted campaign offers a shareable Halloween experience that is also highly exclusive to those who purchase Fanta's products. As part of its Halloween campaign, Fanta has also been collaborating with influencers who are bringing the Snapchat filters to life with makeup and costumes.
