Ormco Corporation Has Expanded Its Spark™ Orthodontic System

— April 26, 2025 — Lifestyle
The Spark™ orthodontic system by Ormco is enriched with two new offerings — Spark™ Retainers and the BiteSync™ Class II Corrector System. Both of these additions are designed to enhance clinical flexibility and simplify workflows for practitioners.

The Spark Retainers aim to provide long-term stability post-treatment, featuring customizable options such as bite ramps, pontics, and extended coverage designs to improve patient comfort. Manufactured from the same TruGEN™ XR material used in Spark Clear Aligners, they are engineered for durability, stain resistance, and a precise fit. Due to these features, the orthodontic system enhancement can be seamlessly integrated into existing treatment plans, whether using aligners, digital bonding, or traditional braces.

Meanwhile, the BiteSync system offers a dual-function solution for Class II malocclusions. It combines an Occlusion Guide for mandibular advancement and a SideBar for maxillary distalization, which can be used independently or together.
