From the dark glass bottle to the metal cap that keeps the beverage secure until opening, this Origin Wine packaging could easily dupe a person into thinking it contains beer. But in fact, the glass bottle contains an organic white wine.
The Just Design creative agency worked on the project and was inspired to create an innovative wine packaging system that takes cues from craft beer branding. As the agency notes this packaging has particular appeal to "a consumer new to the wine category."
As many conscious consumers are now have an interest in fresh and local ingredients, the market for craft beer has flourished. As such, other alcohol products are being branded as "craft wine" and "craft tequila" in the hopes of appealing to the masses that are interested in the consumption of craft beer.
