Trader Joe's New Non-Dairy Chocolate Oat Beverage is Great for Kids

If you're looking for a dairy-free alternative to chocolate milk, Trader Joe's has you covered with its new Non-Dairy Chocolate Oat Beverage.

Trader Joe's is no stranger to dairy-free beverages and already has a very successful original Non-Dairy Oat Beverage. As the name suggests, this drink is not actually milk in the traditional sense, but rather a creamy drink made from water and hydrolyzed, whole, rolled oats. The new Non-Dairy Chocolate Oat Beverage is similar to the original, but also includes cocoa, cane sugar, a pinch of salt, some natural flavors, and a bit of gellan gum for thickening and flavor. "The end result is a chocolatey-brown beverage that’s creamy and sweet (but not too sweet), and, when chilled, surprisingly refreshing," Trader Joe's explains.
