For years now, Trader Joe's has been perfecting its non-dairy alternatives. Now, the brand has crafted a premium rice-based beverage that acts as a perfect substitute for real milk. Trader Joe's new Organic Non-Dairy Rice Beverage is made by grinding rice through a mill, filtering out any ground rice pieces, and then dissolving it all in water. The result is an incredibly smooth drink with a lightly sweet flavor. Trader Joe's supplier then adds calcium and vitamins A, D, and B12 to every batch, so you're still getting many of the benefits of dairy-based milk, without any of the lactose, gluten, or animal products.
