Designed by Sullivan Higdon & Sink, the packaging features various destinations from the beach, to the forest where consumers are likely headed for a brief break this season. Highlighting relaxing colors and bold typography that focuses on fun in the sun, the new packaging designs consist of cups and bags.
Fast food has received negative criticism over the past several years for being unhealthy, but regardless of these connotations it remains a staple of any road trip. As such, the SONIC Drive-In is capitalizing on this by highlighting family fun with a playful design that's designed to become a part of the overall experience.
