Architect and designer India Mahdavi leads the reimagined design of the Monte-Carlo Beach historic resort. It rests along the edge of the Mediterranean and bridges the notion of glamorous design with modern elegance. This is done to celebrate Riviera history whilst creating contemporary sensibilities.

At the core of the redesign is the goal to bring attention back to the classic Mediterranean villas. This is a space that truly celebrates its surroundings through the invitation of natural light and simplicity. Mahdavi shares, “For Monte-Carlo Beach, I imagined a romance, a sentimental story unaffected by the passing of time, nourished by the imagery of the Riviera and the spirit of the great era of the 1930s in order to revive this mythical place with modernity and elegance.”
