Caprini & Pellerin Renovates the Casino Royal Palm

Architecture firm Caprini & Pellerin has renovated the Casino Royal Palm, which is an art deco casino located in the French resort of Cannes. The updates include modern components including the organically shaped marble bar to elevate the interiors of the Bello Epoque themes. It casino was first designed in 1928 by French architect Roger Séassal.

Skand Tony Barusta, the project design manager of Palm Beach Cannes shares with Dezeen, "Our overall goal was to enhance the casino's opulence without compromising its historical integrity, creating a seamless dialogue between past and present. We preserved the intricate architectural detailing, such as ornate mouldings and grand chandeliers, while introducing refined modern elements through custom furnishings, ambient lighting and a curated selection of materials."
