Sid Lee Architecture arranges the architectural and decorative elements to evoke the essence of Mediterranean culture. The design employs a material palette of marble, unfinished stone, rich wood, and textured brick, combined with carefully considered illumination to cultivate a sophisticated yet welcoming ambiance. Key architectural forms — from a sequence of arched overhead structures to a prominent central bar — allude to nautical themes such as ship hulls and sails while also organizing the spatial flow and defining different experiential zones for patrons. Mare even includes a curated art collection to enhance sophistication.
