Artfully Designed Cali Restaurants

Marc Ange Designs the MUSE Restaurant in Santa Monica

Marc Ange from his eponymous studio was commissioned to design the MUSE restaurant located in Santa Monica, California. The space inspired guests with artful aesthetics and culinary goods nestled in a jewel-box environment. Ange was tapped by chef-owner Fardad Khayami to showcase his refreshing take on French cuisine in the Californian environment.

The two share similar influences and the collaboration was a seamless one. The chef nods to Italian tastes, which is where Ange was born and they have the traditional influence of France, where Ange was raised. The cross-cultural aesthetic is translated in a cohesive way. Ange shares, “There are elements of Italian 1970s sexiness and French elegance, with a touch of LA, which creates something completely contemporary."
