Justin Lebon teamed up with his woodworker friend Mark Becker to create a one-of-a-kind customized Monopoly board game, which he used to propose to his girlfriend with. Since the couple enjoys playing board games so much, it was the perfect way to create a personal and meaningful marriage proposal for the couple.
The customized Monopoly game contained many personal symbols and specific locations in each of the boxes. For example, each location had a significant meaning and there was even a secret ring compartment that contained the engagement ring. The card with the question “will you marry me?” was placed on the back of a ‘Chance’ card.
Additionally, this game used Monopoly money from thrifty board games which enhanced the authenticity and spoke to the couple’s love of the iconic game.
