American canned cocktail brand Monaco Cocktails adds to its portfolio of ready-to-drink cocktails with the launch of the 'Monaco Classic Mai Tai.' The 12-ounce cans contain a mix of light and dark rum with tropical flavors and orange curaçao.
This convenient, pre-made drink has been released, in part, as a celebration of National Mai Tai Day, which takes place in the United States on August 30th. With a 9% ABV and all the ingredients found in the traditional drink, the 'Monaco Classic Mai Tai' aims to mimic the refreshing, bar-made staple. "This modern twist on a retro tiki cocktail allows consumers to enjoy a classic cocktail bar experience on-the-go or at home," said Don Deubler, CEO of Atomic Brands. the parent company of Monaco Cocktails.
