There are plenty of portable espresso makers on the market, but none of them are quite as small, or as multipurpose as the Mokase.
Mokase takes the form of a smartphone case that doubles as a coffee maker. To use the device, one may slot a Makaromi cartridge into the case. From there, a user may launch the Mokase app to begin the brewing process. Within just five to eight seconds, Mokase heats water that can be poured for making a quick shot of espresso that can be poured into a small cup.
Although many smartphone users might be concerned about the closeness of liquid to their phone, the Mokase is 100% waterproof and the designers promise that the heating of the phone accessory add-on will not compromise the phone's regular functions and features.
