In an effort to restore some dignity to the homeless population, Project WeHOPE offers mobile shower and laundry facilities. In any job interview, you want to look as professional as possible and appear as your best self. Project WeHOPE is turning to the power of the crowd to give those without the opportunity to get clean. Based in San Mateo, California, the homeless non-profit organization is crowdfunding its facilities.
The custom trailer will come with showers, washers and dryers as well as bathrooms. The mobile shower will be accessible via ramp with a small hydraulic lift for wheelchairs. After the trailer is built, the non-profit hopes to establishment homeless encampments such as Half Moon Bay.
