Last year, McDonald's rebranded itself in France by redesigning its interiors to be based on the "family," and now more McDonald's family-focused restaurants will be popping up all over the United Kingdom.
The new McDonald's family-focused restaurants will have a completely new look that will feature integrated technology and a sleek modern aesthetic. Designed to cater to the restaurant's younger customers, the company is testing out a new children's eating area, children's menu, a climbing wall and technology features like iPads and projected games in its pilot restaurant in Milton Keynes in Buckinghamshire. McDonald's plans to open 1,200 more if this first concept restaurant is successful.
According to a McDonald's spokesperson, the new concept "represents the evolution of the eating-out experience for the family..."
