Colorful Clothespin Sculptures

Martin Huberman's Tornado Sunrise Sculpture Uses 68,000 Clothespins

Martin Huberman of Normal Studio created this beautiful sculpture using colorful clothespins. The sculpture is titled 'Sunrise Tender Vortex,' which reflects its complex shape and the color scheme.

This artistic installation is hung like a swirling tornado and begins with a large circumference that gradually becomes smaller towards the ground. The color scheme follows a similar pattern -- as the colors begin dark they gradually transition into a lighter hue. The installation begins with deep purple clothespins that turn pink then rose-colored and finally yellow to mimic a sunrise.

The 'Sunrise Tender Vortex' installation by Martin Huberman is currently on display at Buenos Aires' Museo MAR. The artwork is suspended from the ceiling and overhangs a gap in the floor between two levels, which creates an eye-catching installation for visitors.
