The same artist who created Shudu, the fully CGI model that was featured in Balmain’s Bbox bag campaign, collaborated with the designer brand on Balmain's new 'Virtual Army' of luxury fashion models.

So far, two new Balmain-exclusive digital supermodels have been created to embody the beauty, individuality and confidence present in the Balmain woman. Margot is French and Zhi is a Chinese model with an edgy, short haircut that takes cues from David Bowie. Naturally, each CGI character has her own style, inspirations and personality, with the potential for many more to be added to the Balmain army with a focus on celebrating individuality and inclusivity.

Across the world of fashion, completely digital influencers and models are quickly becoming the stars of major campaigns, offering the industry the perfect balance of realism, technology and fantasy.
