Ripe Near Me is a local food app designed to help you find, sell, swap or give away home-grown produce. Although we know that it's best to eat local or better yet, grow your own food unfortunately this isn't always possible. However, this app is great if you lack the time, resources or know-how to start a garden, or if you are lucky enough to have one, connect with others to share your produce.

The Ripe Near Me app is currently in beta, but it has big plans to "dramatically increase the quantity of urban and sustainably grown foods."

As well as being able to follow individual fruit trees, users will also be able to monitor growers who have something that's not yet ready for harvest, but they will be notified when ripe.
