There are plenty of gourmet lobster burgers that have been introduced for consumers with a love of seafood but Burger & Lobster is now setting itself apart with an innovative creation that takes inspiration from a popular fast food sandwich.
A few years ago, KFC introduced the Double Down as a bunless sandwich that replaces two outer pieces of bread with crispy fried chicken. As such, Burger & Lobster is riffing off of this idea with its 'Double Drown' burger, which it is calling its "first-ever luxury bunless burger."
The opulent £47.90 bunless lobster burger is only being offered by Burger & Lobster for a limited time, featuring steamed lobster tails sourced from the waters of Nova Scotia in Canada. Diners also have the option of elevating their meal with champagne and a thin-cut potato side dish.
