With a limited sneaker release of the signature Samba ADV, adidas Skateboarding and BEYOND THE STREETS celebrate famous street artist Shepard Fairey. The model is done in collaboration between the three entities, ultimately recreating the heritage footwear into a skateboard-appropriate shoe.
The limited sneaker release embodies both Shepard Fairey's loyalty to the three-stripes brand and is an attempt to commemorate his long-lasting contributions to the world of skateboarding and art worldwide.
The Shepard Fairey Samba ADV is characterized by a clean and minimalist upper that allows for a lot of interplay between outfit and footwear. Small iconic motifs and branding emphasize the importance and aesthetic meaning of the shoe. In addition, the footwear silhouette is joined with a randomized assortment of merchandise, carrying Fairey's artistic motifs.
