Japanese sneaker retail imprint Mita works together with adidas Originals to present a new design version of the iconic Samba sneaker model to kick off the new year. The collaborative effort is a wearable artful design with a dynamic upper made from a blend of premium materials.
It starts with both suede and elevated ostrich leather touches. It comes with decorations throughout the silhouette with a spotlight on the oversized tongue, which folds over similar to the Wales Bonner version of the Sambas. Overall, it embodies a retro look with branding seen in its traditional spot in the form of the Three Stripes emblem. It is rounded out with a classic rubber midsole in a navy tone and a pull tab at the back.
