The L'Accostee House Was Made to Preserve the Natural Surroundings

Set on the shores of Lac St-Francois, the L'Accostee House was completely rebuilt by Bourgeois and Lechasseur Architects. The owners asked the design team to make an entirely new home while still preserving the natural surroundings and keeping an open space near the edge of the lake.
By keeping the original foundations, the team was able to provide an over-sized storage area, while a luxurious terrace and spa was built on top of the original footprint. The large stairs leading to the lake open up the back living space in a modern and aesthetically pleasing way.
The interior of the new L'Accostee House features a unique and open design, keeping true to the ambitious exterior style -- with a light and clean white color scheme and pops of natural wood throughout.
