This Kiev apartment is the fusion of historical value and contemporary sensibilities. The juxtaposition is subtle, hence, the styling of the dwelling are skillfully and impeccably balanced. The interior is arranged by architectural firm 2B.group. The palette is kept to muted colors that compliment the original aesthetic of the space.
The Kiev apartment, which is dubbed ‘PUSHKA,’ occupies two floors. The delicately arched windows establish a connection with the outside, allowing an ample influx of light in. The brickwork, which was carefully restored by the architectural firm, is perhaps the most noticeable design element of the dwelling. A modern metal staircase connects the two levels of the Kiev apartment. The piece bends at a 90-degree angle and 2B.group take advantage of this opportunity to install a simple and cozy seating space at the window.
