Just Eat recently announced that it will provide 30-day support for the restaurants that use the platform. The support was created in order to help alleviate the burden that restaurants face due to the COVID-19 virus. Just Eat announced that the support will run from March 20th until April 19th.
The food delivery platform also indicated that it will be eliminating sign up costs for any restaurant who is currently looking to join the Just Eat platform.
Andrew Kenny is a U.K MD who works for Just Eat and he spoke about the new changes to the platform and its importance going forward, "The food delivery industry has a crucial role to play at this time of national crisis and it is only right that as the market leader in the UK Just Eat steps up to help our independent partners so they can keep delivering for the communities that need them."
