FreshDirect and Uber Eats have announced a partnership that's intended to expedite access to fresh produce, pantry items and prepared meals for consumers. The partnership will see online grocer FreshDirect leveraging the on-demand delivery capabilities of Uber Eats, which will enable customers to place their order and receive it in as little as 60-minutes. The partnership comes as part of Uber's continued initiative to expand on its grocery delivery capabilities and respond to increasing demand for convenient access to fresh food items.
