Eyeless Art

The Jules Julien Rebus Exhibition is a Sight to Behold

I have realized in the last couple of weeks that I have an affinity for bizarre and creepy art. I mean, I must if I keep writing about it. The Jules Julien Rebus Exhibition is not morbid or disturbed or anything like that, but something about a boy missing his eyes is a little unsettling--I just can't put my finger on it.

I guess why I find myself drawn to this kind of work, as I imagine for the same reasons anyone else would, is because of the fascination and puzzlement I have towards how someone could come up with this and, more importantly, why. Rather than try to comprehend the artist's dark mysterious psyche, I'm just going to sit back, drink my coffee and enjoy the eyeless illustrations found in the Jules Julien Rebus Exhibition.
