Rick Owens is a 50-year-old American fashion designer who is perhaps most well-known for his avant-garde style and contemporary clothing, which you are sure to fall in love with in this gallery of Rick Owens outfits. Owens studied at Otis College of Art and Design for two years before dropping out and taking pattern-making and draping courses at Los Angeles Trade-Technical College.
After that, he worked in the design industry, ironically enough, making knockoffs of designer clothing. He started his namesake label in 2001 and showed at New York Fashion Week during September 2002. The show was sponsored by Vogue US and Anna Wintour, and to add to his critical acclaim, supermodel Kate Moss was photographed wearing one of his distressed leather jackets.
