Global software provider IMImobile was presented with the 'Most Innovative MVNO' award for its work with Mobile by Sainsbury's at this year's Effective Mobile Marketing Awards. The tech company also took home awards for 'Most Effective Retail Campaign' and 'Most Effective Messaging Campaign' for its SMS-based campaign work with IKEA.
In terms of Mobile by Sainsbury, the company developed a connective solution that allowed users to link their Nectar Card account to their mobile identity. By doing so, they are able to earn points through activity and purchasing decisions made on their phone. The campaign, which is a step in the company's still-forming consumer loyalty approach, combines mobile and in-store experiences to optimize the customer's value.
The company states, "Receiving three awards in the last two weeks for our work with IKEA and Mobile by Sainsbury's is testament to our abilities to deliver innovative CRM and loyalty solutions that are market leading in each sector."
