Just ahead of Halloween this year, Salt & Straw unveiled its October Seasonal Pints, which introduces a bold new range of ice cream for Halloween. For the creation of this offbeat dessert collection, Salt & Straw asked itself questions like: “What if Halloween monsters had recipes that had been passed down generation to generation?” or “What do ghosts taste like?” The answers to these questions can be found in products like Dracula's Blood Pudding—which includes real blood pudding—and Essence of Ghost.

Some of the other intriguing flavors from Salt & Straw's October Seasonal Pints includes Creepy Crawly Critters, which features a base of matcha ice cream with chocolate-covered crickets and coconut toffee brittle-covered mealworms. There's also the Freckly and Hyde Potion, a cranberry sorbet and a bitter melon coconut sherbet that surprises with spots of dark chocolate and coconut ash-coated pop rocks.
