This Internet Ad Shows the Ice Bucket Challenge for ALS Years Later

The Ice Bucket Challenge for ALS was a phenomenon that swept the Internet in 2014 —which is precisely the point of these ads for Connect Internet in Lebanon.

Now that it is the year 2017, Connect Internet has just rolled out a commercial showing what you miss out on when you have a slow Internet connection. Several years late, the ad shows "unscripted characters from remote areas in Lebanon" performing the Ice Bucket Challenge, which is still amusing, but no longer captures the attention of the masses as it once did. Connect Internet closes the ad by saying "Don't be the last to get it. Connect faster, wherever you are."

A second ad in this series from Connect Internet also follows the same theme, but features the Harlem Shake.
