Brazilian furniture design company Estar Móveis recently opened a new store in São Paolo that pays homage to the sweetest of cribs with its very modern and slick-looking honeycomb design.
SuperLimão Studio was chosen by Estar Móveis to design the store and give it a contemporary edgy look; the geometric version of a honeycomb was its answer to that -- and it works perfectly.
The hexagon-paneled structure is an experimental take on how to aesthetically design curves, and it gives this metallic honeycomb an eerily outer-space vibe -- in a good way. The opaque and semi-translucent hexagons also play a functional role by complementing the store's interior by manipulating the amount of light flowing in at different times of the day.
