This holiday home design has been designed by KRADS for Tina Dickow and Helgi Jónsson as a secluded living space for them to escape to that's modern, private and respectful of the surrounding landscape. The home is positioned in the mountains of southwestern Iceland above Lake Þingvallavatn and is finished with a green rooftop that enables the structure to blend in seamlessly with the environment. This attention to the natural environment is extended indoors where timber accents, soft finishes and expansive windows make it the perfect place for relaxing amidst nature.
