Start-up company, Toumaz Technology, has created a band-aid called The Sensium with an embedded sensor can take an ECG, three axis- accelerometer, blood glucose reading, ph-level, and blood pressure. They must be envisioning some pretty serious scrapes in order to justify a doctor monitoring your real-time vitals.

Implications - With the economic recession still in the backs of many consumers' minds, many individuals are looking for products that offer security in a number of ways. Providing commodities such as this high-tech Band-aid allows for buyers to feel a sense of protection from their purchases.
