DrySee Bandages Now Change Color to Indicate Wetness

DrySee bandages are showing off a new function that will provide an indication if a breech has occurred to eliminate the need for guesswork when it comes to changing wound coverings. The bandages feature the Liquid Alert technology that will change color when water permeates from light blue to a a darker blue color to let the person know that it needs to be swapped out. The waterproof bandages are designed to seal out water and germs, while still providing breathable wound coverage that will stay in place when bathing.

CEO Brad Greer commented on the new DrySee bandages saying, "Infections are a historical and ongoing plague on the health care system. DrySee is a game-changer for post-procedure care. There is no more ambiguity on the part of the patient. It is visibly obvious when a bandage needs to be changed. This visual cue should help patients be more proactive with their wound care, and help reduce the number of infections.”
