The Smart Grilled Cheese Box by The Melt solves the problem of soggy sandwiches. When you combine hot cheese with bread, it doesn't take long for the bread to become a little more moist than usual, but to keep the grilled sandwich toasty and crispy, these boxes have been specifically designed to provide airflow to the sandwiches, keeping them hot for up to about 30 minutes of leaving the grill.
The box simply has a few holes it and when placed in a warming tray, the box ensures that hot and cool air can pass through with ease. The Smart Box was developed by The Melt founder Jonathan Kaplan, who previously put his creative thinking to use for the development of the inventive Flip camera.
