Bamboo-Detailed Green Retail Spaces

Clean the Sky - Positive Eco Trends & Breakthroughs

The New Apple Store in Macau is Created by Foster + Partners

— July 3, 2018 — Art & Design
The movement toward a green retail space has seen an increase in popularity in recent years as interior designers, architects and companies are beginning to realize the mood-enhancing qualities of a nature-infused workspace. Tech giant Apple recently opened a store in Macau, China that embraces the benefits of the lush environment.

Architecture firm Foster + Partners builds the green retail space via an engaging decor of densely arranged bamboo thickets. In addition, the facade of the structure is particularly eye-catching. The practice overlays layers of glass with extremely thin layers of stone, ultimately creating a translucent and eerie ambiance with a wall that appears solid but allows light to come through.
