GOD SELECTION XXX Re-Imagined Luxury Watches for Hong Kong

Japanese streetwear label GOD SELECTION XXX worked in collaboration with Rolex -- the duo took vintage luxury timepieces and gave them new interpretations to be showcased. The reworked watches are on display at I.T Hong Kong and the exhibition features a plethora of signature timepieces. This includes the Daytona, the Explorers I and II, the Day-Date, Sea-Dweller, Submariner, GMT-Master and the Oyster Perpetual.

The collaborative show puts the spotlight on one particular watch, the Rolex Daytona, that is crafted from18k yellow gold and complete with a matching yellow gold wristband that was drawn from 1989.

Notably, GOD SELECTION XXX also created a custom piece highlighting vintage cues from Rolex and the streetwear culture surrounding its own label. This custom piece is comprised of a leather cover, leather band and an additional nylon band.
