To celebrate Queen Elizabeth's 90th birthday and the upcoming summer Olympics, Big Bear Confectionery has announced the release of a patriotic packaging design for its popular Glacier Fruits boiled sweets. Like other brands, the patriotic makeover gives the company a tangible way to show off its proud British heritage.

The limited-edition packaging for Glacier Fruits consists of a large Union Jack design the covers the entire length of the packet. The bold design is meant to help the brand connect with patriotic Brits during a time that includes momentous occasions such as the Queen's birthday, the Olympic games and even the EU referendum. As the head of trade marketing for Big Bear Confectionery Ross Stanley explains, "These sweets offer a real fun factor, and celebrate all things British with a big summer of sports and events ahead."
