Melodea introduced its MeloPack solution, an end-to-end flexible packaging product for food brands designed to move from specification to production-ready printed rollstock in as little as 30 days. Built on the company's MelOx-NGen and VBseal coating platforms, the solution is engineered to replace conventional multi-layer laminates with recyclable transparent mono-material packaging without requiring changes to existing filling lines.
MeloPack is available in BOPP, PE and Bio PE mono-material structures, offering high or ultra-high oxygen and water vapour barrier performance for food applications including flour, spices and avocado spread. The packaging is compatible with vertical and horizontal form-fill-seal lines, supports up to eight-colour flexographic printing, and complies with EU, FDA and BfR food-contact standards.
For food manufacturers, MeloPack simplifies packaging development while reducing lead times and sourcing complexity. The solution reflects the growing demand for recyclable, production-ready packaging systems that help brands accelerate product launches without significant operational changes.
