The Girl Scout Lemon-Ups Cookie Celebrates Innovation & Entrepreneurship

For the 2020 season, Girl Scout is introducing a brand-new cookie called Girl Scout Lemon-Ups, which are crispy and shares inspiring messages from Girl Scout entrepreneurs. With these cookies, young girls are offered reminders like "I am a go-getter" and "I am an innovator," among others that celebrate the experience of being a Girl Scout. These new Lemon-Ups Girl Scout Cookies will be replacing the Savannah Smiles cookie.

These new cookies help to bring attention to the fact that the Girl Scout program is about much more than cookies, as young girls have the chance to build their own cookie business and pick up valuable leadership and financial literacy skills along the way. As GSUSA CEO Sylvia Acevedo puts it, "When you purchase cookies you are helping girls power their Girl Scout experience and you're supporting female entrepreneurs."
