On July 22nd, A & W Canada will celebrate 'Free Root Beer Day' with a root beer giveaway.

From open until close, Canadian root beer fans can visit their local A & W to request a free root beer. Free Root Beer Day was invented by A & W as a promotion to have Canadians try its new naturally sweetened root beer.

On July 10th, A & W unveiled its new sugar cane-sweetened root beer made with sarsaparilla, birch bark, licorice and anise. A & W is known for its special root beer recipe but growing demand for more natural fast food options pushed the brand to reinvent its classic drink. This root beer giveaway will be a great opportunity for Canadian fans to test the new recipe and determine if it can replace the fast food classic.
