Formosa Springs has officially relaunched under new ownership, marking the return of one of North America’s oldest mineral water sources to its founding lineage. Following a strategic acquisition led by wellness entrepreneur Nicholas Reichenbach, the brand has been repositioned as a modern hydration company rooted in heritage, purity, and long-term stewardship.
The water is drawn directly from the original artesian spring beneath the historic property and bottled at the source; as it passes naturally through limestone and mineral-rich geological strata, it retains its intrinsic mineral composition without additional processing. The initial portfolio includes still and sparkling mineral water in 750ml glass bottles and 355ml slim cans.
Looking ahead, Formosa Springs will launch a direct-to-consumer subscription platform in April 2026, followed by national Canadian retail expansion in May and planned entry into select U.S. natural retail channels in Fall 2026.
