A lot of misinterpretations and miscommunications happen over text messages, but now there is a font formatting messaging app that helps flesh out intonations. Whatsapp has just updated its app to allows its users to make their words italic, bold or even strikethrough them all together. Fun and meaningful, it adds a level of context to such communications that will be eternally helpful.
Easy to master, to bold using this now font formatting messaging app, place asterisks before and after the word or sentence. For italics, the underscore is used and for strikethrough a tilde is used. Although it's considered one of the more basic chat apps out there, it's clear the platform is becoming more sophisticated under Facebook's impressive umbrella.
