Flower Girls by Michelle Matson, an artist who partook in the second season of Bravo TV’s 'Work Of Art' reality series, is a bizarre set of sculptures made out of paper. Although that piece of information isn't bizarre at all, it is the forms the sculptures take on that is strange, provocatively so. As the name suggests they are flower girls, but not the type that walk down the aisle at a wedding. Instead, they look more like strippers that have been covered in vines to obscure their identity.

Depicting a tremendous sense of humor, Flower Girls by Michelle Matson are fleshy, inebriated characters that flaunt what God gave them. What makes them even more grotesque is the textured use of paper that makes it appear as though their skin were scales.
