Those who love filtered coffee and curry rice will want to check out a new destination in Japan's Shibuya Station by the name of Drip Currymeshi Tokyo.
The all-new eatery is based on an newly launched product from Nissin called 'Curry-meshi,' which puts a fresh spin on instant noodles. At this stop on one of the Yamanote Line platforms, diners are able to order beef, spicy chicken or seafood flavors, complemented by a variety of premium condiments such as dried bonito flakes, maple sugar, jasmine tea and coffee.
To prepare the curry rice snacks, Drip Currymeshi Tokyo pours hot water over a filter of rice in order to infuse the flavors in a way that reminds of the preparation of pour-over coffee.
