Pour-Over Soups

Yohaku Drip by Kikkoman is Prepared with the Same Process as Drip-Brewed Coffee

Yohaku Drip is a new soup product from Kikkoman that takes inspiration from the way coffee is prepared. This pour-over soup product from the Japanese soy sauce producer is described as being inspired by "the same technique as drip-brewed coffee." In fact, Yokahu Drip packets have the look and function as single-serve pour-over coffee packets, and they have paper filters that are designed to be placed into a mug or bowl.

Once freshly boiled water has been poured over the single-serve soup packet, it can be left to steep, usually for just a few minutes at a time before it's ready to enjoy.

Yohaku Drip is first launching in three flavors: Katsuo Karebushi (with smoked and fermented bonito fish from the Kagoshima Prefecture,) Katsuo Arabushi, (with smoked bonito from the Shizuoka Prefecture) and Magurobushi (with dried tuna flakes and Hokkaido kelp.)
